Alicia Elam, PharmD, is a pharmacist and tenured Associate Professor in the College of Allied Health Sciences at Augusta University. She serves as the Course Director of Pharmacology and Director of Admissions for the Physician Assistant Program.  Dr. Elam has over 28 years of experience as a practicing pharmacist including serving as a Lieutenant, Medical Service Corps Pharmacy Officer in the US Navy, and greatly enjoys mentoring students that are interested in pursuing graduate degrees in medicine, pharmacy, PA and other allied health science fields.
