Dr. Rinehart’s nursing career spans over 30 years and includes med-surg, surgical ICU, emergency room, flight nursing, and leadership. Her nurse practitioner experience includes adult health, family practice, neurology, and community health. Her academic career spans 10 years teaching undergraduate and graduate level nursing. She is currently employed as Assistant Dean of Faculty, MSN-NP Tracks, for Chamberlain University.
Dr. Rinehart’s past speaking engagements include topics on neurology, such as migraines and dementia, pharmacology, smoking cessation and medication compliance strategies. She has been a poster presenter at the UAPRN of GA Annual Conference. Her nursing leadership experience includes past terms as President and Secretary for the UAPRN of GA, Atlanta Chapter, Secretary for the UAPRN of GA at the State level, Nominations Committee Chairperson for UAPRN of GA State and Atlanta Chapter Elections and served on the Conference Planning Committee for the UAPRN of GA.
Dr. Rinehart earned the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners State Award for Excellence in 2013. She is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, the National League for Nursing, Sigma Theta Tau, Georgia Nurses Association, and the United Advance Practices Registered Nurses (UAPRN) of Georgia.
