Marla Green, FNP-BC

Geriatric Nurse Practitioner

Marla Green is the owner of Educatrix Advanced Practice Seminars, LLC.  Her company conducts biannual Continuing Education (CE) conferences for Nurse Practitioners. CE credits are necessary for practitioner to obtain and maintain national certification and state licensures. Additionally she is self employed as a health coach; where she works to assist clients to meet their health goals such as improving conditions like diabetes or hypertension, weight loss or gain, improve mobility, etc.

Marla obtained her Associates and Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Florida Hospital College of Health Sciences (now known as Advent Health University) in 2003 and 2005 respectively. Her Master’s degree in Nursing was obtained from The University of Alabama in Huntsville in 2011. She is a nationally accredited Family Practice Nurse Practitioner with the American Nurses Credentialing Center, and maintains her certification to practice in Georgia.

The majority of her nursing and Nurse Practitioner career was spent taking care of oncology patients. During her career, Ms. Green worked as a Travel Nurse for cancer centers at prestigious hospitals such as Cedars Sinai in Beverly Hills, CA and New York University in New York, NY. She also held Oncology Nurse and Chemotherapy Certifications.

In 2016, an 18 wheeler rear ended Ms. Green, causing back and neck injuries that ended her Nurse Practitioner career in an inpatient/outpatient capacity. She currently resides with her 9 year old son, mother, and goldendoodle in McDonough, GA.
