Tina’s dedication to her profession is demonstrated by her membership in NAON, AORN, and WNA. Tina has over 30 years of clinical and instructional experience in orthopaedic nursing. She holds a Clinical Adjunct Faculty Position at UW-Madison School of Medicine and Public Health and currently practices as Surgical Orthopaedic Nurse Practitioner. With an MS from UW-Madison, she brings years of hands-on clinical experience in healthcare and wellness.
She has been an editor for Orthopedic Operating Room Manual, a peer reviewed author of many chapters and journal articles including Orthopedic Nursing, NAON Core Curriculum, and, Orthopedic Nursing Journal.
Tina holds four certifications; Orthopaedic Nurse Certified (ONC), Certified Perioperative Nurse (CNOR), Adult Nurse Practitioner (ANP-C) and Orthopaedic Nurse Practitioner (ONP-C). She was honored at NAON’s 34th annual congress, receiving a Distinguished Service Award that recognizes an individual who has advanced orthopaedic nursing through their actions and efforts.
Tina has presented both nationally and internationally for NAON and AAOS, along with many other organizations within the US. She is particularly known for her ability to provide practical information to interdisciplinary health care audiences.Tina’s high energy and genuine enthusiasm, coupled with a passion to help people be more of who they are – completely and fully creates her signature approach to education.
